WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR A MATERNITY PHOTO-SESSION ?

The ideal time for a Maternity photo session is between 28 and 35 weeks when the baby bump is prominent but you still feel comfortable enough to move around and pose.

Frequently Asked Questions About Maternity Photography

Do I need to bring my own outfits?

For styled pregnancy photography sessions, we provide a beautiful selection of dresses, fabric draping, and accessories at no additional cost.

Many of our signature portraits are created using items from our client wardrobe.

We recommend bringing plain nude, white, or black underwear to wear underneath the outfits.

I’ve never had a professional photoshoot before. Will you help me pose?

Absolutely! Most of our clients have never stood in front of a professional camera before.

We specialise in creating a calm, supportive environment where you can relax and enjoy the experience.

You’ll never feel rushed or unsure of what to do — we guide you through natural and flattering poses every step of the way.

Can my partner and children join the photoshoot?

Yes. Family members are welcome to join most pregnancy sessions, creating meaningful portraits that celebrate this special chapter together.

Many parents choose to include their partner and children for a selection of family images alongside individual maternity portraits.

Are make-up and hair services included?

Professional make-up and hair services are not included in our pregnancy photography packages.

However, we are happy to offer guidance and recommendations to help you prepare for your session.

Do you provide RAW or unedited images?

No. We do not provide RAW files or unedited images.

Every photograph is carefully edited in our signature style to ensure the highest quality and artistic finish.

How will I receive my photographs?

After your photoshoot, you’ll be invited to view your images through a private online gallery.

Once your favorites have been selected, the professionally edited photographs will be delivered via online download. A USB memory stick can also be purchased for an additional £15.

How long does image processing take?

Your edited maternity photographs are usually ready within approximately two weeks of your image selection.

How do I book a maternity photography session?

To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required.

This fee will be deducted from your final package balance.

The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

Are there any travel fees?

Travel expenses only apply when the agreed photoshoot location is more than 20 miles from our business location in Sutton, Surrey.

Any location fees, entrance fees, or photography permits required by the venue are the responsibility of the client.

What is included in your maternity photography packages?

Our photography packages include storytelling, soulful and timeless portraits of your pregnancy, professionally edited in our signature style.

Depending on the package selected, sessions may include access to our maternity dress collection, styling guidance, family participation, prints, and professionally edited digital images.

Where do photoshoots take place?

Pregnancy sessions can take place in our Sutton home studio, at beautiful outdoor locations across Surrey and South London, your home, or occasionally at a suitable location agreed during your consultation.
