By booking a photo session with San Vid Photography you agree with terms and conditions.
Booking and Payment
Upon booking, the ‘San Vid Photography’ will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. The deposit of £50 is to be paid at the time of booking to secure your Photography Session.
If the Client cancels the Photography Session, an unconditional refund policy exists up until one month (30 days) prior to the reserved date, at which point the ‘San Vid Photography’ shall retain the deposit. Should the cancelled appointment turn out to be a postponement, then, subject to the ‘San Vid Photography’s’ availability, all monies paid may be applied to the new appointment. If the appointment has to be cancelled by the ‘San Vid Photography’ due to adverse weather conditions a new, mutually agreed appointment will be made.
Limit of Liability
In the unlikely event that the ‘San Vid Photography’ is injured, becomes too ill, or has an emergency that prevents them from attending the Portrait Session, the ‘San Vid Photography’ will make arrangements to re-schedule the portrait session. If a suitable day for reschedule is not agreed upon, the Client agrees that responsibility and liability of the ‘San Vid Photography’ to the Client is limited to the return of the deposit received for the Portrait Package. In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the ‘San Vid Photography’s’ control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, the ‘San Vid Photography’s’ liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the Portrait Package.
All Clients are asked to arrive on time to the Portrait Session. If You are running late, please call the ‘San Vid Photography’. The San Vid Photography’ respects every single Client’s time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning Sessions, so please respect the San Vid Photography’s’ time too. A £20 late fee will be assessed if the Client is 30 minutes late. If the Client is more than 30 minutes late, the Session will be cancelled and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Travel expenses such as parking, shipping, or destination fees must be reimbursed to the ‘San Vid Photography’ and will be added to the balance due after the session. Travel fees are pre-determined and will be set out in the initial payment total. Clients are responsible for all location fees and permits. Travel expenses only applicable if reception location is over 20 miles radius from ‘San Vid Photography’s’ business address Sutton/Surrey, all miles in excess of 20 miles roundtrip are charged at 50p per mile.
On the long journeys additional charges applies.
Digital Negatives, Prints and Copyright
The photographs, digital negatives or prints produced by the ‘San Vid Photography’, are protected by International Copyright Law (all rights reserved) and the ‘San Vid Photography’ retains the copyright to all photos and images produced. The Client will receive a copy of the digital photographs on a disc/USB, as part of the Portrait Package. The Client may reproduce any images in any manner they like for sharing and enjoyment of friends and relatives. However, the Client must not reproduce any images for publishing or selling for profit.
The client agrees that any photographs cannot be cropped (with the exception of forced cropping on social media), altered in colour, or edited in any way.
No Raw files, no unedited images from the session given.
All questions must be asked before signing the contract, not after.
